Quattro @ Avenue K No.2

On the 18th of March, there was a party called "IN HEAT" at Quattro, Avenue K. I received this text message twice, invited me to this party and it was a FREEFLOW + LADIES NIGHT! On the title itself, I wrote "Quattro @ Avenue K No.2" because this is my second time here. My friends this time were my coursemates (previously went with my secondary school friends) and we all planned to go for this free flow party from 8.30 to 10.30pm. Ha! Who can make it at that time, anyway? Everyone needs dinner (though my usual dinner starts at 7pm).. And by the time we are ready to go out, it was nearly 10pm. Reaching there at 10.30pm, the freeflow party was over! Aww... So the guys had to pay..

So, that night wasn't that fun because there were some shows going on.. Shows that did not amazed us somehow (I mean us girls, not sure bout the guys.. Haha!). More shows, less music. Less music, not so fun. Haha! Some claimed that Supper Club was better than Quattro. Either ways, we'll have to enjoy since we're all here. Therefore, here are some pictures of the night!

By the end of the day, it was still fun because of the moments we get to spend together. To me, having fun in clubs doesn't mean meeting new people, drugs or alcohol. I personally enjoy clubs with a group of close friends where we can have fun together - dancing and laughing! But of course, to spend time together with friends doesnt need to be in clubs.. It can be anywhere more - decent. Haha! Still, we can enjoy more while we're still young. But, to a certain extent okay! Wow.. Sounds like a mother's talking.. =S Hoho!

SiChuan Steamboat... Again!!

Ever since Hu Bin is back from China after the semester break, we haven't got a proper meal or hang out time together, to keep each other updated. Well, it seemed like a month in China changed her alot. She seemed happier, quieter, more matured, and... some other good qualities. Not that she was a bad girl before this, but what I mean is, some ways of perceptions or point of views has changed.

Okay, we went 1 Utama for movie: MARLEY & ME

It was quite a touching story and it is obvious that the main character is Marley the Dog. "Googling" for this image, I found out that this was based on a novel "Marley & Me" by Josh Grogan.

Then at 5pm, we went to Puchong for SiChuan steamboat... Again! My third time here, and I can say that the food isn't too fresh, there're other restaurants can do better than them. Anyway, all I want was to enjoy the hours of goodness, where we have an enjoyable time together, eating little by little, drinking chinese tea over and over again, chatting and laughing throughout the night! AHHHH~ An enjoyable night!

Friday was my last day of exam. We came out of the exam hall, 45mins after the exam started. This is because the exam paper was easy! Ok, its not that I'm proud, but if you can imagine how our exam format was:

Section A: Multiple-choice questions

Section B: True/False questions

Section C: Fill in the blanks

And the subject was: IT FOR BUSINESS

Anyway, right after exam, we went PARTYING~! haha not really partying... We just thought of having lunch in Midvalley, and to find out that Redbox is having a buffet lunch from 12pm - 3pm! Well, its my first time here at Red Box The Gardens! Okay, here goes some pictures of our times together...

Clearing up my day

After the Business Law exam today, Adam fetched me home. While I was waiting for him at the KPDA, a guy came up to me and gave me a free FRUIT SHERBET! Looking delicious, tastes delicious! haha! I think they were having some charity thingy there... Throughout the ride, Adam was crapping happily, while I was there, listening to his cold jokes (still sad over exam).. He showed me where the SP Setia's developer stays and there! That bungalow is just like a glassy mansion. Imagine 1 bungalow built on 2 pieces of bungalow lands... with the house mainly covered with glass with one side of it, a nice garden.. Its really beautiful.. Then, I showed him where my church is located, and to find out that its really near to the driving range he's working at. Well, he somehow made me overcome my sadness with his crappiness and those lies he made up just because he said that its fun to see me filled with curiousity. Ha! He's such a nice and crappy guy. LAMER~ Making me so pissed off.. but then... he can't win me!! because the next thing happened was that He's really pissed off with me calling him blur! not observant! and "road-illiterate". Haha!! hey, its good that I'm telling you that, at least, you know a little bit more about yourself.. haha! but I gave him some improvement marks as he managed (wanting to prove to himself that he's not blur) to get himself out of the mazy roads and head back to work! I should really thank him for the ride back home... really appreciate it!

Later at night, around 10pm, means just a moment ago.. someone turned up at my doorstep! KOAK YUE!! haha he came with a box of supper, bought from the Night Market at Taman Connaught. Its really nice of him and I was delighted with a surprise and... FOOD!! (yer.. sounds like a glutton) A friend of his came along to pass the food. A cute girl and she's friendly. But i feel so embarassed coz I was in my pyjamas (high school sports shirt + ugly pants + thick glasses + hair flying everywhere) meeting a new friend. URGHH!! Anyway, thanks alot too! I feel happier now.. Its really great to have good friends like you guys..!

Business Law

According to Section 6 of the Contracts Act 1950, a proposal is revoked:
(a) by the communication of notice of revocation by the proposer to the other party;

(b) by the lapse of the time prescribed in the proposal. All offers last for a specified time only. It then expires and cannot be accepted. Sometimes an offeror does not specify how long the offer will be kept open. If so, the courts will have to decide a reasonable length of time it should be kept open. In the case of Ramsgate Victoria Hotel v. Montefiore (1866), the defendant offered to purchase shares but did not specify how long his offer would last. The plaintiff accepted to offer after 5 months, by letter. The defendant, meanwhile, refused to pay. The court held that the defendant's offer was only for a reasonable period and 5 months was more than that.

(c) the offeree makes a counter-offer. A counter-offer revokes the original offer. The original offeror whose offer has been terminated by the offeree's counter-offer can accept or reject the offeree's counter-offer. In the case of Hyde v. Wrench (1840), the defendant made an offer to sell his house for £1000. The plaintiff purposely accepted at £950 but when the defendant refused, the plaintiff accepted the original offer of £1000. The court held that the counter-offer terminated the original offer. There was nothing to accept.

(d) the offeror dies or has mental disorder. If the acceptor knows of it, the offer is terminated but if the acceptor does not know, then the offer is still open.

This is one of the essay for today's exam. I like Business Law because I find it interesting and informative! Sometimes I even think why I did not go for a Law degree after all.. haha!! but today's exam is disappointing... because i have memorized everything and somehow prepared for the exam... but I did not do as well as I thought I could.......... =( sad day..
